Award-winning, full-service law firm Higgs LLP has been appointed to the Bar Council Debt Recovery Panel.
The Panel was formed to support Barristers and Clerks who are chasing unpaid fees, and Higgs provides a bespoke service to ensure clients’ requirements are carefully considered and crucially, act upon instructions swiftly and efficiently, utilising workflow management software to ensure maximum potential debt recovery.
The firm’s Debt Recovery Services team is led by Jason Morris, a reputable specialist with 25 years’ industry experience in recovering professional services fees and who has worked with the Bar Council previously.

Our initial pre-action protocol compliant letter of claim will include interest, compensation and recovery fees added to the outstanding invoiced sum, so where a full recovery is made, Higgs’ services will be cost free. However, where irrecoverable costs are incurred, Bar Council members will qualify for an exclusive 25% discount on standard debt recovery fees.
