Gurvinder Kehel is a senior associate solicitor within the residential property team with specific expertise in site acquisitions, site set up and onwards plot sales.
Gurvinder completed development worked alongside Higgs commercial property team which acted for a developer client in a site acquisition.
Following the site acquisition, Gurvinder set up a bespoke site development legal pack and worked in close conjunction with Higgs in house commercial team to incorporate a bespoke management company.
The management company ultimately took ownership of communal areas following disposal of the last plot on site. Plots were disposed of to purchasers with bespoke documents being prepared for those purchases being funded through the Government backed Help to Buy Scheme.
Vikki Seal took charge of plot disposals to open market purchasers before Higgs corporate team were re-engaged to deal with the appointment of purchasers as directors and members of the management company.
The various in house specialisms of Higgs enabled all aspects of the transaction to be dealt so as to provide a comprehensive ‘cradle to grave‘ service.
