"I am a newly qualified property litigation lawyer with a keen interest in neighbour disputes, boundary claims and commercial lease disputes”

I recently qualified as a solicitor in the property disputes team, having trained at Higgs for the previous 2 years.

The team deals with a wide range of work and so I have gained experience in dealing with Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 work, residential tenancy issues, dilapidations, break notices, adverse possession, rights of way, neighbour disputes, boundary claims and more.

I am the Vice Chair of the Wolverhampton and Black Country Junior Lawyers Division and have worked on the committee for 2 years organising networking events and initiatives for other young legal professionals in the area.

I am also a member of the firm’s Green Committee, as a passionate believer in the importance of taking action against climate change where possible.

  • Assisted with defending a dilapidations claim which the judge concluded should never have been brought against our client, and as a result our client was awarded indemnity costs
  • Took a matter to mediation where our client was able to settle their boundary dispute and avoid going to trial
  • Assisted with defending a mortgage possession claim which was successful in Court
