I lead the Restructuring & Insolvency team, having joined Higgs in December 2019.

I have been advising on restructuring and insolvency matters for nearly 15 years and whilst I started my career in the South West of England I have been Midlands based for the last 10 years.

I advise on all aspects of corporate restructuring and corporate and personal insolvency work. I regularly deal with administrations, compulsory and voluntary liquidations, bankruptcy and voluntary arrangements.

I regularly advise directors of companies in financial difficulty as to their obligations, and in relation to litigation brought against them by insolvency practitioners. I manage a team dedicated to offering director protection services of this nature.

I also act for insolvency practitioners assisting with the realisation of assets in insolvent estates. This includes advising on claims against directors, business owners and other third parties against whom insolvency act claims might exist.

I also advise in connection with solvent liquidations and business turnaround solutions and distressed sales.

I am a Full Member of R3 and have been featured in the Legal 500
