Sam Dell

I began my training contract in September 2023 after joining Higgs in May 2022 as a legal assistant in the business services department following the completion of my LPC and Master’s degree at the University of Law in 2021.

I had an exceptional experience at the Higgs Spring Vacation Scheme in April 2022, this experience helped me decide that I wanted a career in corporate and business law.

In my current team, I advise companies and shareholders on efficient tax planning, restructures and succession pieces having previously worked in the corporate team.

During my time at Higgs I have given talks to students at the University of Wolverhampton and the City of Wolverhampton College aiming to inspire the next generation of lawyers and breaking down misconceptions of the legal industry.

Outside of the workplace, I enjoy going to the gym, watching the football and traveling with friends and family. I also enjoy listening to and discovering new types of music.
