"I am an associate in the corporate team and i advise clients across a broad spectrum of corporate matters, having a particular focus on our tech & high growth client base of start-up and early stage businesses, founders, angel investors and venture capital funds.”

I have been an associate in the corporate law team since September 2022, having joined Higgs in July 2019 as a corporate Paralegal following a successful vacation scheme.

I previously managed the firm’s company secretarial client base and supported the wider business services department, providing a full service of legal support for businesses, which included support for our tax/restructuring, insolvency, commercial, and corporate teams.

I have experience in a full service of business legal support for companies and individuals, ranging from corporate governance issues to disposals and acquisitions, and have particular experience in servicing a range of technology/high growth businesses and institutional investors from seed investment and onto further funding rounds.  I am also actively involved in advising on private equity transactions.

As part of my role in our tech & high growth team, I am always looking to support local start-up businesses and often provide pro bono legal advice to founders on Aston University’s BSEEN programme.  In 2023, I was highly commended at the BSEEN awards as a champion of the programme.

Within Higgs, I sit on the firm’s Green Committee as a green champion for the business services department to promote sustainability.
