I lead the corporate law team at Higgs, having initially joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2004. I was named the Corporate Lawyer of the Year at the 2023 Insider Dealmakers Awards, having also been shortlisted for the same award in 2022.
I specialise in advising business owners with corporate transactions including sales, acquisitions, MBOs, MBIs and investments and have a diverse range of clients including owner managed businesses and large national/international corporates. Deals are often transformational for businesses and individuals and it is extremely rewarding to be able to play a central role in navigating clients through such processes.

- Advising the shareholders of engineering consultancy business Travis Baker on its sale to RSK Group.
- Advising the shareholders of the UK’s leading charity reward shopping site Easyfundraising on its Private Equity investment from Palatine.
- Advising the shareholders of legal tech firm Legal Bricks on its sale to Access Legal.
- Advising on the MBO of Direct Trade, one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of PVCu windows, doors and conservatories.
- Advising the shareholders of packaging solutions business Hyrdopac on its sale to FTSE listed Bunzl.
- Advising the shareholders on the sale of Insider Media to National World plc.
