"I am a trainee solicitor with a special interest in assisting clients with an acquired brain injury to manage their property and affairs and attorney and deputyship disputes following a Public Guardian investigation.”

I am a trainee solicitor, having joined Higgs as a court of protection manager in March 2021. Prior to joining Higgs, I had various roles in the legal team at Office of the Public Guardian.

I have worked in court of protection and mental capacity law for eight years.

I started the solicitor graduate apprenticeship in March 2022 and will qualify as a Solicitor in 2025. So far, I have trained in; court of protection, personal injury, business succession and will finish my training in commercial property.

I am the first, at Higgs LLP, to do the graduate solicitor apprenticeship and I am Higgs LLP’s first trainee solicitor to take the “non traditional” route to qualification - the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).
