Tom Young
Partner and Head of Court of Protection
"I am a Partner in the private client team and the Head of Court of Protection.”
I specialise in financial deputyship and the management of property and finances for vulnerable clients. I am passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and considerable emphasis on developing positive relationships. I have always been committed to helping those in need.
Whilst training to become a solicitor I worked as a volunteer on a number of death penalty cases in America. Since qualifying I have supported a number of pro bono initiatives and I worked alongside Neil Allen, barrister at 39 Essex Street, in order to create and develop the multi award winning Manchester University Dementia Law Clinic.
I am instructed as an expert on deputyship costs in high value litigation claims.
