Matthew Norgrove
Principal Associate - Wealth Preservation
"I am a private client lawyer who advises clients in relation to wills, lasting powers of attorney and wider inheritance tax planning.”
After undertaking my training at Higgs LLP, I qualified into the firm’s private client department in September 2019.
I advise clients on a variety of aspects of their estate planning.
I advise clients on the preparation of their wills which are tailored accordingly to achieve their succession requirements. I also assist clients with the preparation and execution of lasting powers of attorney.
I have experience in assisting clients with their wider inheritance tax planning and the options available to them to mitigate the same. I assist clients with trust formation and the ongoing administration of such trusts.
I also work closely with the firm’s personal injury team and assist clients with establishing personal injury trusts.
I am currently an associate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and I am working towards achieving full membership status.
- Have acted for and assisted with the implementation of wills, lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning for a number of high-net-worth individuals in the Midlands area.
- Have recently acted for a client on the establishment of a personal injury trust to ensure their seven figure personal injury award is protected appropriately.
