I joined the firm in September 2019 as a trainee solicitor before qualifying into the private client department, specifically the wealth preservation team, in January 2022.
I have experience in a variety of aspects of wealth and estate planning matters. In particular, I advise on and draft wills, lasting powers of attorney and provide inheritance tax planning advice. I also advise on trust creation and the administration of ongoing trusts.
I am currently a member of Higgs’ Inclusion Group as I am passionate about promoting the firm’s inclusion agenda.
I am an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and am currently working towards obtaining the STEP Diploma and full membership.
I am also a member of Future Faces Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and a committee member of the Wolverhampton and Black Country Junior Lawyers Division.
- Assisting with the preparation of wills for two generations of the same family with multi-million pound business assets to incorporate succession, protection and inheritance tax mitigation;
- Advising on and constituting a will trust for the surviving spouse of the deceased for asset protection purposes;
- Advising on the creation of a lifetime trust for inheritance tax planning purposes;
- Preparing property and financial affairs and health and welfare lasting powers of attorney for various clients to ensure they have trusted individuals appointed to act for them in the event that they lose capacity;
- Acting in the administration of a will trust on behalf of lay trustees
