Steven Santy
Partner - Personal Injury
"I am a Partner in the serious injury team and handle claims on behalf of those who have suffered major trauma following a non-fault accident.”
I specialise in complex and multi-site orthopaedic injury, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and fatal accident claims.
I have secured multi-million pound settlements for my clients over the course of my career. I have expertise litigating cases in the county court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
I have considerable experience in the coroner’s court and have represented clients and families at jury inquests.
I strive to support clients and their families through the process of securing compensation following life-changing injury. I take client’s problems on my own shoulders and fundamentally, I care.
The implementation of early rehabilitation in order to improve outcomes is something that I am very passionate about and helping clients to live independent and fulfilling lives is what I consider to be one of the true joys of my role.

- £1.6m settlement for a motorist who was involved in a head on collision with an HGV. Our client suffered a traumatic brain injury and multiple severe fractures. I pushed our opponents for case management and obtained specialist rehabilitation.
- £1m estimated value for a client who had an accident at an entertainment venue. They fell in a poorly lit area and sustained a serious brain injury and multiple facial fractures. I have secured funding for ongoing case management and specialist physical and neurological rehabilitation.
- £126,000 for a client who contracted tuberculosis while working in a hospital. As a result, they suffered severe illness and psychological injuries.
- £54,000 for a cyclist who was struck by an opening car door. They suffered severe leg injuries requiring internal fixation and a total knee replacement. This resulted in a major depressive episode. I ensured they were supported throughout their recovery with occupational therapy, extensive physiotherapy and psychotherapy.
