I lead the employment law team at Higgs, who are all gifted lawyers and wonderful individuals to work with.
I enjoy variety and am a self confessed workaholic.
As an employment lawyer I deal with a wide variety of legal issues including tribunal litigation, advising upon employment protection issues including confidentiality provisions and restrictive covenants. I look after the day to day needs of many clients, helping them avoid the pitfalls that wait for those who do not need seek sound advice at the right time.
I have been a mediator for 25 years and relish the opportunity of being able to help parties who find themselves in litigation. I mediate all manner of commercial and business related disputes as well as employment and workplace issues.
I have trained many mediators on behalf of ADRg including the Chief Rabbi of the Westminster Synagogue and a Kings Counsel who acted in the Guantanamo Bay litigation in the USA.
I have a passion to help people who find themselves in difficulty.
I have studied Neuro Linguistical Programming and have a keen interest in understanding human psychology.
I have delivered training for CLT, MBL, Nottingham Law School, CIPD and many other organisations.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Birmingham Law Society, the Civil Mediation Council and the International Coaching Federation, amongst others.

- I have acted as advocate in multi-day discrimination and whistleblowing claims;
- I have successfully helped companies enforce restrictive covenants against former employees.
