I joined Higgs’ commercial property team in September 2024 to bolster their commercial development offering. Prior to joining Higgs, I trained and qualified at an international law firm, and left with 3 years’ post-qualification experience.
I advise on all aspects of commercial property, with a specialism in commercial property development.
I advise developers in the development and regeneration of high quality industrial & logistics, retail and leisure space. I also advise investors and end-users in the purchase and occupation of those spaces.
I advise on acquisitions and disposals of all values and pride myself on carrying out comprehensive but efficient due diligence and having a pragmatic, deal-friendly approach.
I advise on a range of landlord & tenant matters from both sides of the fence, and have a good understanding of key commercial concepts which go to value, and what clients consider most important in a lease.

- Working with a number of local authorities following the introduction of the “levelling up” initiative, in the development and regeneration of their town and city centres.
- Advising on the initial development, redevelopment and/or refurbishment of high quality office, retail and leisure spaces; agreeing conditional agreements for lease with anchor tenants in respect of those spaces; preparing and negotiating forms of “precedent” leases to ensure uniformity across the landlords’ estates; and ongoing asset management.
- Advising a US-based private equity firm on a number of portfolio acquisitions, conducting extensive and comprehensive due diligence with tight turnarounds.
- Advising an international logistics developer on a lease extension on one of their key assets to an anchor tenant, which entailed the development of additional warehousing space totalling 450,000 square feet, including planning and subsequent implementation of the same so as to allow occupier operation during the development.
- Advising a national housebuilder and developer in their refinancing of its industrial and logistics portfolio. This included assets yet to be developed but following development this portfolio will comprise circa 5 million square feet of industrial and logistics space.
- Asset management for Europe’s largest private technology company for their airport division on a newly acquired asset (an airport with high quality retail and office space).
